The men were awfully exited at Potts' turning out + cheered lustily
It was a strenuous watch. The play was mostly in my wing as their outside right was extraordinarily good + they fed him rigorously. The result was a urn for the R.F.A 4-3. I t was a very fast match + quite the longest team we have played.
Wednesday May 31
Orderly Dog today. The second Wednesday running. I have no objection to Wednesday as Wednesday, but simply because it is the day in which the Co chooses to make his inspection + the comfortinn??? ale??? orderly officer has to go round with him.
The Terriers gave a coucent??? at Khanopu??? tonight. They were awfully good. The best show they have given. The Gags were quite the genr???. Addis (an R.F.A officer) remarked that he thought it the best amateur show he had seen!
Thursday June 1
We were to have played D Corp cpts at 8/05 but as the ground was rocky we scratched.
Went on the 7/15 today as it was Ascension Day. Very few thor???.
Same vain this morning. Really hard hail. More??? too pleasant in a thur???!
