Had a nasty incident this morning. I was firing the "bunduth"??? & demonstrating stoppages. Hanes was doing no. 2. in an endeavor to get a Cortes??? out elevated the gun to its topmost. I fired another round without noticing the altered elevation & from what I heard afterward it Riccocheted from the bark right up (about 200 ft up). to "C" Coj's??? Bungalow. It went over Lamont's head & pulled up against a chimney, fortunately doing no damage.
Lamont & I wandered round in the afternoon & found a safe spot for the Range. Any shots from there will go "down the khud???."
Rain to-day or we should have been playing "D."

Had the Sections on the New Range in the morning & got it finished.
The great match took place this aft. The Doctor wouldn't let our centre half out to play, the ! so we played for the first 2 mins with only 10 men. I that 2 min's "D" ran away & scored.
