Tuesday April 18th
Rather than trudge up to G.D. for Breakfast we had a camping out Breakfast at ??. It consisted chiefly of boiled eggs & bread & jam.
There was not much work done today. The men were chiefly on fatigue work of various sorts.
Had to go up to G.D. for lunch of course & after it I came down again to ? to see my tent pitched. We have only got 160 lb ones so far but shall have E.P's when the camels ? up with them.
Up to G.D. again for tea & stayed there for Mess.
Wednesday April 19th
Turned the servies section in to improving the Mule Lines this morning while the new men were on the guns.
Thursday April 20
Spent the morning writing mail. Slacked in the afternoon.
Friday April 21 Good Friday
Parade service was in the open air today on the football field which is the only level piece of ground of any size about as we have not ??? took the service
