had no difficulty in doing it. Haven??? the white headed off towards Camp & I wandered back to look for Frankan??? I found him alright but anxious about the pony. He had checked his pony at the top of a rise thinking the pace a bit too hot for the sand & the pony folded up shooting him over his head in a lovely somersault. He hit the sand with the back of his head so it was lucky for him it was sand or he cud?? probably have "concussed" As it was a couple of his Transport ?? caught the pony & he rode him into camp eventually quite happy thought stiff.

Had a nasty rumour?? last night. there is to be a Divisional Ceremonial Show on Saturday with a rehearsal on Wednesday - partly again to impress the local populace I suppose & partly I beleive for the presentation of medals won in the SHabtudha Show ??? last year. Anyhow its a nuisance.
We did a march to day as Adv. Gd. with a skeleton rear guard. We were with the R.G. We had lunch (& Men's Dinners out) We halted for them at a very pretty village called Walai. The chief cause of its prettiness is that it has a spring. This causes the trees & greenstuff there to be green & makes quite an oasis.
Had about 3 thunderstorms all round us in the eve. some wind, much dust - some??? rain.
