Spent the morning + part of the afternoon writing mail + notes of the Lectures. Young Holloway has got his cairns??? + came into Hiers??? this afternoon.
I am a little doubtful of the success of the venture. Still we can only do our best to help him. I hope it will turn out well. Why I don't quite know , but his Board School Accent does undoubtedly jar.
Friday March 24th
First morning of Battalion Training this morning. We did Adv.Gds, RearGuards and an attack. The M.G were with the Rear Guard first then we were in reserve + covered the attack??? from a convenient hill.
We did not get back to Camp until 3.0. + consequently was not a little hungry. Fortunately there was no Lecture.
Saturday March 25th
Battalion Training continued with more attack. We worked much as yesterday with the Reserves I got to the of a convenient hill stayed there happily. B.Cry got itself into??? rather a mess at one time
