to persuade the vet that Snooker was not up to my weight - but he didn't seem to agree! So I shall have to put up with him until I find a vet who will say so. He's alright from the riding point of view except that he has such an uncomfortable action.
Monday March 20
Orderly Dog today. Lamont stayed in for me in the morning as he has a bad heel?? Experimented this morning with coming?? into action by taking the mules up & by carrying guns up. Found manhandling quicker.
Couldn't go to the lecture in the aft. as D.O. stays in camp.
Tuesday March 21
Got rather an impossible piece of counter??? for gun work this morning so did stranded?? tests instead.
Had a short nite in the evening.
Wednesday March 22
I owed??? C & D Camp?? this morning.
C was doing Adv. Gd. & posting picquets
D was doing Rear Gd. and withdrawing rhim?? Bat. told Seratton?? to make one of two of his picquets get into difficulties so that we could ????
