Spent most of the morning packing Machine Gun Gearexcept for intervals for 3.30 & one practice on the range.
Thursday January 13th
As unthursdayish a Thursday as one could want.
We heard today officially taht Worham who was reported missing in the Gulf is now"wounded" & in hospital which is better.
Also we hear that Padre Spooner who went from here about June or July has been recommended the V.C.over taht ???? Show. He is just the sort of man who would get it. I hope they give it to him.
Had same strenuous day. Started by going on to the Range and making a putrid score. Then went back & spent a couple of hours in the S.S. office.
After that I wandered along to the Camp & found the Specialists loved by no one & more or less fighting among themselves for 4 tents. There should have been 8 up. So I had out the Senior NCO's & alloted both the pitched & the unpitched tents & then
