Saturday December 25th CHRISTMAS DAY

Went to the 7.0 this morning. The first chance I have had for some Time.

Church Parade at 9.15. As I don't belong to any Company now I did Acting Adjt. to the O.C. Parade.

Looked in at the men's Dinners to-day in accordance with the Christmas Army Custom. Fortunately The Men and Adjt arrived just about the same time, so I was saved speechmaking.

A lazy afternoon and then went to the Holmes' for the evening. Had the best dinner I had had since I have been out here and the music and games afterward; Quite a jolly evening. We left about 11.45.

Sunday December 26th.

Church Parade again today. A/Adjt to O.C. Parade again.

Went out at 2.0 with Rudolf and Glover (the latter on a mule, carrying the paper( to lay the trail for the Cross-Country Race. Then we went to the Finish and waited for the competitors. The results were: 1 Tumer Scout (Specialist)

2. Brooks Band "

3. Little O.C. Sigrs. "

4. Thompson D" Coy of the people!

5. Dobbs D" Coy

6. Keene Drivers Specialist
