After Breakfast we did nothing exciting.
Played Tennis in the evening with Mitchell against Lisle and Corse. they were very good sets - 6-2 7-5 6-2 though we lost the lot.
They told us today that the Course has been extended by 2 days so it won't finish till the 6th.
Wednesday December 8th.
Tactical training of a Section to-day before Breakfast. We had four little schemes. Of course I got dropped on to be the Officer who runs the show in me of them. I wish the Major didn't know my name! However I got on pretty well and got very moderately cursed. One individual said he had seen it done worse which coming from him was almost praise especially as the people he has watched doing it before have always been Regulars! So I felt happy. Poor Lamont got dropped on twice. Once when he was doing No. 1 in the first scheme, though that was hard luck and hot his fault altogether and then again when he was Section Officer in the third show.
No excitement after Breakfast.
Slacked this afternoon and wrote notes in eve.
We had a test paper today. not very difficult if the final is no harder. I think I ought to pass - but you never know.
