Thursday November 11th
Did "Pachmari?? Driving" with a vengeance this morning in practising Time Movement & occupying five positions. The soil about here is deadly gravelly. Alas my poor ??? elbows!
We had an Oral Exam this morning. I got "???????" behind cover with a marker as ?????? who did his work very well & did the very ???? ??? ???? ?? to a nicety. Then I got "Trigger Pressing" & in Aiming "Aiming off for Wind Movement". Neither examiner let me finish which is a sign that you have "strafed" them alright & as I am not in Orders tonight as ???? up for re-examination I take it I have passed.
On the Miniature Range today we fired at little men with the sun on them against a sandy background. Our eyes were mucked up for us & we had to depend on a to I got 2 hits out of 10 shots. The target is 3 x 2 as its widest & longest. This at 30 yds!

Home?? range this morning. Did quite well on the 200 which was really only a sort of sighting rifle practice. At 500 I went all over the place. We were firing round curves?? & I did not get comfortable added to which we were hurried - no excuse!
The rest of the day was unexciting.
Wrote some of my letters home in the aft.
Had 3 sets of tennis & then settled down to write up notes.
Orderly dog today. Not an arduous proceding up here!
