Friday October 29th.
Work much as usual to-day. Did a little towards getting ready to hand on to Frankan.
Tennis in eve. Played with Mrs. Vickers against Jackson and ??? and bet them. 6-3. 6-4.
Saturday October 30th.
A busy day to-day. Took most of the morning handing out to Frankan. Found to my disgust that my S.S.C. a/c were 2/8 as compared with the Bank. It took me most of the afternoon to elucidate them. I eventually discovered that I have entered a 2/8 in the Cash Column instead of in the Bank. So all was well.
The evening was given over to sorting and decided what I wanted to take and what to leave behind. I shall have an appalling amount of Luggage tomorrow and what it will be like when we go home I don't really know. About 36 packages I expect.
We had the band at Mess tonight for the first time in nearly two months. It was quite a treat.
The C.O. gave us a fond farewell after Mess told us to be good sort of thing.
Went back to the Bungalow with the fixed intention of being in bed by 10/30 but it was 11/30 instead as I sat up talking to Rusty.
