want to sing the Venite? 7 started away so we said it. Otherwise all went well.
Tennis in eve. Not bad games. Five of us cut in. I was lucky every time. Ruarif?, Beach, Major, Corton? & myself.
Mon Sept 27
Had a joyous time today. Starting at 6.0 I had the whole of the M.G. kit int he cell turned out -- not before its time. The white ants had gotten at the M.G. Saddles but fortunately had not done a great deal of damage.
We continued the good work at 9.0 & "A" Crp sent up 4 men to help. They struck work at 10.15 the Gunners didn't finish until 10.45 but the difference in the appearance of the cell was marked to say the least of it.
Did not get back to the Bungalow before lunch.
Tennis in aft. Played with Beach against Corton? & Frankan.

6.0 to 9.30 was spent going through the spare parts & checking them. I have now got a list of what I have taken over.
Had a long time with Pull? over various things then went to the G.R. & attacked the C.O. and staff over money for cookhouse, contingencies etc. The upshot was that the P.R. 1 is going to give us 5 Rupees a month which
