No MG today so stayed in bed til 7.0
O.R as usual 8.30-12.30
Tennis in eve with Jackson v Beach & Padrs. Had 3 very good sets.
Night ops at 7.30. I had to chaseround with the C.O. "B" Corp did a night march - in advance Guard formations - & were attacked by "A" Corp. The real excitment only lasted about 1/2 min & we did not see much of it. The rest of the time was rather boring.

U.G 6.30. Rode round the Polo Ground first then up to the Guard room.
O.R. as usu.
Tennis in eve. with Jackson v Beach & Co. We actually won a set. 6.3. Great achievement for us!
Toovey is now held up by a ??corvs from the Divn. so what is in the wind goodness only knows.

O.R 9.0 - 1030. Then odd jobs till 1.0. Slept after lunch till 4.0.
Hockey 5.15. Officers of Sin. v Specialists again. It was a very good match. The officers won 2.1. I played Inside Left in the first half & then left half in the second. Did not altogether shine as a half though did not make an absolute ass of myself.
