Wed. Aug 4. A year ago today we declared war. It seems ages ago & yet the time seems to pass like lightning! I wonder if it will be finished by next Aug 4. We had a Church Parade at 7.0. Higgins was taking it but all officers were pleasant???. Now Spooner??? has gone to the Gulf we are minus a Padre. Moore??? from Baneki??? took the Service on Sunday but he didn't come over today.
