16. Fri. July 2. - Parades as usual 6.0 - 7.45 & 9.0 - 10.0. Nothing but Musketry Tests in all of them. Handed over S.S.O. to Trovey at 10/30 to.day. It took nearly 1 1/2 hrs. I am rather sorry to leave the office after straightening it out, though I can quite well do with the less work. Had a nasty shock when I sent Nanna Vhan??? with the English Mail tonight. The P.O. people swear it went at 5/0 this morning. The noriee??? in orders says it leaves today. It is??? rather a muck. Nothing exciting in eve.

Sat. July 3. Rain Humid. Parades as usual. Still Standards Test. Did quite a lot of work over the Coy accounts to.day. As far as I can see we are RS 11 up! Played Hockey in eve. We had only a scratch game. ??? aside. The match terminated abruptly about 5 mins before "Time" by Noyes??? getting a crack in his finger which opened it up rather badly. Took him along to the Hospital to get it tied up & then slacked till time for Mess. I omitted mention of our last nights ride. We went along the whole Temple road for about 2 1/2 miles then across a Vutcha??? Raod which brought us out on Rhaful??? Station.
