As it is "Alhambra day" tomorrow we had a guest night tonight. The number of guests was very small, only nine. We did not want to invite Bankipore.
After dinner we all adjourned to a concert in the usual place - near No. 2 bungalow. It was a jolly good concert, as usual the Party was in great form and we had several new "gags".
There were several of the Battery there and I think it was a very good thing for them, as Manley said. After burying two of their men in the week and needed a little cheering up! and no wonder!

Off colors.??? Slacked all day and crawled over to Mess in between whiles for food. Couldn't s??? Dinner in the evening and had to resign at the end of the 3rd course.
Monday May 17
Rather better to-day but still slack. Didn't go off duty. Saw Potts in eve and collected a Tonic.
G. Played to A hockey tonight. Lamont - who sprained his ankle a bit playing Hockey on Sat. Willamson who has been down with sun and all watched from a Ghorri. "A" Co. had very hard luck. Ansty in goal let a silly one through while Key for G made save after save. Result was that we lost 1 - 0. The
