We had arranged that these prized should be distributed this aft at our Bungalow. Beach, who has the cheek of Satan, asked the General to come along. And he did. So we had a "platform" of The General, His Major, our C.O. Mrs. Hewlett & the officers of "A" Co.
The General had to retire as soon as we had finished, in order to catch his train back to Calcutta. Mrs. Hewlett & the C.O. stayed to Tea.
Went to the Club after Tea & had some Tennis & Badminton.
