Gym this morning. Franken turned up & assisted so that I did not have a great deal to do.
We continued our entrenching proceedings at the morning parade. We are getting on with the "Dug outs" now. It will be a might defence work when we have done. And all in 5 hours so far.
Biked to Khagol & shot a couple of cards in the aft. with Hickling.
Wrote vigorously from Tea to Mess. It is apparently the Hindu Marraige month just no & we are treated to a weird noise rather like a few street Arabs playing at Bands, nightly. That seems to be the outward sign of the marriage (or the first stage of the marraige) of two unfortunate little kids of about 6 or 7. Eventhe jackals lift their voices in protest!
103 Wed. Feb. 10.
Hickling took the 7.0 parade.
Entrenching continued to-day. We practically finished our dug out. We can't finish the others owing to lack of roofing materials.
Had our last hour at it in the afternoon. Now on Friday we have got to defend it.
Got a move on with my mail in the eve. Home mail was in to-day. Cheers!

Spent the morning writing letters. Wrote 8!
Had a go at Photography in the aft. Tried the enlarger. It works quite well except that you must put it in the shade to get even illumination.
Showed Lamont round our Defence works after that & then at 5.30 went
