Range again till 3.0. Then entered up the registers & started to write here but had to break off to go to a Lecture by the C.O. on Outposts. It started at 6.0. It ended at 7.30! and most of it was amant??? sort of piffle??? that I knew when I had been in the O.T.C. a year. I know there are some subalterns who know nothing, but why we should all suffer their sins I can't see.
Scratched off a page or two more letters when I got back from this, but had not finished when mess time arrived.
As we are getting 2 lectures a week thank heaven they are not all by the C.O!

Turned out just after 6.0 today I finished my letter home. It was ready for post when I went over to mess for Breakfast. On the Range from 8:30 - 1.0.
Wrote up Registers & C.E.M.S. minutes when I got back.
At 5.0 we had a photo of the whole company taken by the same chap as took the officers yesterday. As the sun was down we had it without helmets. It should be quite good.
Had Lane over afterwards & plugged away at notices for the C.E.M.S general meeting next Tuesday. It is quite a job writing, addressing & arranging for the delivery of 60 rad??? notices!
