Huge excitement at 7.15 this morning. We suddenly found we were arriving at a big station so the whole three of us did a very quick dressing ???. It turned out to be Subbulpore???. The men got hot tea here. Dry rations were served out to them last night at tars??? while this was happening our train went out & the R.F.A one came in. They are detraining here. About 8.30 we got on the move again. We are now on the E.I.R Suggulpori-Allahabad Branch. We have parted from the two big eight coupleds (consolidations) we had . We have not got one 4-6-0 with about 6' driving wheels.
I notice that several of the coaches on this train are E.I.R though all the firsts are G.I.P. ???DIAGRAM???
