Fri. Nov. 20] Red

The afternoon parade I bored the company by trying to squash 3000 yrs of Indian history in 30mins.

We are out of sight of land now but the sea is very calm.

Sat. Nov. 21

Another warm day. Cabin still about 85. Had our officer physical drill at 8.0 am to-day. Parade as usual at 10.0. Spent the time from 11 - 1 in holding informal classification tests in semaphore??? from Brecknock officers. I sent one myself at 19's. i.e. 197 letter in 2 min. 3 mistakes.

Slacked in aft.

Ran a corest??? in the eve for the both battles. Best represented the Breckrock. I got 2 men from each of our companies. We discovered

Sea [Sat. Nov. 21 quite a list of good talent. We started @ 8.30 & finished @10.15 lights out 10.30.

Sun. Nov. 22 Go up for the 7.0 ??? in the music room to.day. There were about 6 officers & 24 men there. The Archdeacon takes the service awfully well. I have discovered where the monogram on the Territorial Chaplains stoles is. It is C.E.T.F. thus ???DIAGRAM??? (surrounded by a crown)

The Minerva & the Duke of Edinboro steamed back towards Suez early this morning at full speed. A fishy looking boat passed us about 11.30 last night so possibly they are after that. I discovered that some of the ships in our corwoy???
