Wed. Nov 4 Gibralt. One of the occiers of the guard to-day. My turn comes 8 -12 am and pm; so I had to get up quite early - for me. Visian was Orderly officer of the day and made a horrid mess of things especially of telling of and posting the sentires. I had to help him out eventually. It took me the best part of the morning getting things straight.
The Baths went ashore for a routine march this am. I hope to get ashore this aft. Two or three tugs and a barge have come up also a whole duty of naval offrs.
I believe they are going to change our coal as our present stuff is on fire!
The Camaria ??? is berthed almost opposite to us. She's painted all grey. They seem to be getting well on with repairs if she was badly knocked about; as they seem to say. ???DIAGRAMM???
