66. S.S. "Delwara" ?? Sun Nov.2. till about 6.30 when both Hickling & I made for our bunks & had Dinner brought in to us. Then sleep. Mon. Nov. 3. Sea much calmer when we got up to-day though I am told we had it quite rough last night. However I had quite a good ???kker. We had our usual parade at 10.0 & issued canvas shoes & blue FS. Caps to the men. This took till almost 12.30. Good lunch. At 2.0 I had to descent to the hold to superintend the removal of ammuni. from kits & the stowing thereof into Ammuni boxes. There will be a dickens of a job reissuing those kits to the men as only about half of them are marked at all. We sorted them into marked & unmarked so that will simplify things a bit. Lounged on deck from tea to dinner. Blue tonight. We are on our own now at about 12.0 the Diana came along & signalled "Proceed to Gib. Rendez-vous there." We have not lost sight of the convoy yet. (6.30) but are out to their left. I believe they keep about 40 miles from land. We are cutting in. The bus? rides much better now she is moving faster. Also the sea is calm & the weather much warmer. We were on deck without coats today for the first time. After dinner we had a sing-song in the Music Room 10.10 ??? just came in from the deck. It is
