Thur Oct 29 Breknockshires on board. They are going to Adam – poor brulis. They came on board between 7 & 9. About 9 they were all aboard and we hooted for our ???. Two of these fussy little objects came up one toward. One ??? At 10.30 they gave there first ??? & stage 2 of our journey to Singapore had begun.
We went quite slowly down the ??? and then she aimed straight out to sea. About 11.0 we tuned in. There was just a slight swell on but not enough to worry about.

Woke up about 5.30. Dressed about 6.45 & went on deck. Fairly heavy swell on & the old tub ??? like fun. At 9.0 we breakfasted then we lounged on deck till 1.0.
At 1.0 we reached the Rendezvous of the convoy. We were the last ??? one to arrive. Our escort seems to consist of 2 TBD & two conserve – one a 3rd class – the other a first ??? Frenchman who doesn't cover very ???
We formed up in two lines & we are the last ship of the Right time. There are 12 ships in the convoy inching the escort less the TBDs which disappeared – probably to scout – when we started & haven't been seen since.
After lunch I had a sleep in my bunk & then lounged on deck ???
