Spent the rest of the day in bed. Fill no ??? effects beyond awkwardly stiff arm.

Arm still rather stiff. Got up after breakfast. Wandered round to look at the men. They mostly seemed quite alright & happy.
Hickling came down to the vicorage in aft but as he did not seem very fit Beech suggested his stopping. Coseq. I gave up my bed to him & slept on Beech's camp bed in his room.
??? at the vicorage. ??? So past birthday 20. Rather differently from what I had expected at world do 6 months before.
Sat Oct 24
Company Parade at 9.0. Had a leader from Beach in the Footer field then went for about a five or six mile march. We went through some jolly fair country – out towards Woodstock Park RO.
Went to ??? Mrs Stores at 12.30 ??? draws helmets for the men.
Pay parade in aft. I paid the Coy while Beach looked in & disappeared in the middle.
Tea at Vicorage. Dined at the Waverley. Then went on to the Cinema with Dovey & 4 or 5 others. Programmer not extraordinarily good.
??? better today but remains at Vicorage. Therefore comp bed again.
