I managed to explain that they wanted an Inner Circle. They wanted to know when I was going to the front! Just then the train came in so I said " Nolive (???) Train" and Adieu & so they left. 45 [Tue Oct 20. We reached Bromley about 4.30. Pat came in about 5.0 wearing his uniform. (Pte. Artists Reserve). We talked much about nothing in portico (???) until we left about 6.30. Caught a Hammersmith Train at Aldgate hoping to catch the 7.7 fast from the L St. when we got there the said 7.7 was stranded on the other side of the platform. Patio wanted to go in the Hammers but I said no it may go out first. This turned out to be so, & we had just scrambled in when it moved. Got back to Harrow about 8.0. Roredan came over about 8.30 on his bike. He saluted very nicely when he came in. He has got Butler with him in the 9th as well as Smiles (???)& Trongaban (???). He seems quite happy. He vanished about 9.30.
