Very thick fog this morning till about 10.0 when it cleared & began to be pretty hot. We did nothing very exciting in our morning work.
In the aft BEECH & I played tennis while the men worked at Tug-a-war!

I had leave for 72 hours from Fri. eve. To Monday eve. Thompson was detailed to like a non-standard party back to ??? by the 4.51 so he asked me to up that train. Beech said "There is no early reason you shouldn't" so I went. The train was late ??? to a special bringing some of ??? back from ??? getting in the wasy so we did not arrive at Vic. till 6.25 ??? meet me there & we taxi ??? Baker St getting home about 7.30. The evening of course was spent in talk.

Went up to town in A. M. Saw Miss Ashley & Miss Hewett. Went to ??? & ??? about the sword. Went to ??? & caught the 12.52from ??? St. home. I ??? went to Wellesden via South Harrow, ???
