Caught the 5/30 at Victoria. Arrived at Sittingbourne at 7.0 after a typical S.E.C.R. journey. Had a bit of a job to find the Town Hall & the find O.R. when I had found that. However I eventually found the Adjt. & was piloted by him to the C.O. at the office Mess. He was very decent. Doovey was just in to assist me in collecting my valise from the Stn. There are the questioning a ???. Eventually under the guidance of Pope & a Capt. called Beach I was piloted to 76 High St. Seems a jolly nice brelel???. the people are quite nice. They are called tiam's???. He is the local coroner??? & what not else.

Slacked at the mess & the bellet??? today. At the mess I got into conversation with a Capt. called Stratton. He has apparently asked for me to put in his Coy?? "E".
Mon. Aug. 31
Went of??? Physical Drill Parade at G.O. with "E" Coy???. the other two subs. are Robinson & Holt. The former is a un??? foreign savier & learns for a new "O" Coy of non - F.S. ??? tomorrow. Holt is rather a weird spec: quite a nice chap.
At 8.0 the Bart alum?? paraded & we marched about 4 miles out to a gaining area. There Straiton look recruits in standard tests - musketing. We had about 2 hrs as company & then marched back getting in about 1.30.
Parade again at 3.0 to 4.0.
