At 1.50 I made tracks for the Met Station there I met Miss Moores & 5 of her present & past SS boys vizi- Stan. Carter, Geo. Walter, Reg. Locke James Fairbrokes, Sid. Wilts. We waited till about 2.13 & then Herb Fountain strolled up just in time for us to miss the 2.15. So we had to wait for the 2.24. This took us safely to Ruislip. We walked nearly to Ickenham then came back to the Orchard Bungalow for tea. After tea we went along to a common???

affair & amused ourselves till 6.30 when it began to rain. This drove us prematurely to the station & so home. Still we enjoyed ourselves all the same.

Hill at 11.0. Mr. Ellis preached. He was as usual vg. I shall chalk it up when he preaches a bad sermon.

Just wandered to Greenhill in aft to see Miss Moores & the boys.

Went for a walk in eve conducting Miss Jones, who arrived about 4.0, to Kenton Station on the way. That was to catch the 8.18.

According to to-day's news the Russians are beginning to make headway. This is good.
