Saw Mr Wilkins???, drew my L2 & got my Pass Book. Got back to school @. 11.0. Saw Sgt Maj. Then watched the Tentpitching Team. Peter again 11.30 - 12.15. he is going away himself but thinks Carney??? wd.??? be willing to assist if asked. Went home via Wallis's Holbom???. Got a Trouser Press & a new Sports Coat. Then wandered on to Hopes???. Bought 2??? pr. Socks 291 [Wed July 22 of the largest size they had in the shop. Then went by tube to Oxford Circ. Had lunch at Liptons. then went home by 1.55 ex Marylebone. Mr & Mrs Vooridge??? came over today so had to sit & talk till 6.30 when I scorched??? over to Marlesoen??? to get some cheese for the Mater. They had gone when I got back. Pater went to the Polteies??? yesterday & won't be home till tomorrow night think '
