Stevens wandered in to lunch with me. At 1.15 we left to parade. Biked to Station en masse: trained to camp via Reading & S&CR to North Camp. Saw the Pragger with the Magdalen OTC looking as Stevens expressed it "bored stiff". He was with a crowd who are marching down via Sandhurst where they stop the night.
We arrived in camp @ 6.0. Settled down very soon & then had dinner. After that we were more or less free.
The pitch is same as last year ?JD?. Cambridge are with us. No one else.
257 Sun June 21
Had a free day to-day till lamps at 9.0.
Stephens & I went out in a punt on the old canal thing in the afternoon. We took Browns with us so the cost was 4d. per hr. It was lovely out.
Was switched in to read fast lamps. Got on fairly.
Mon June 22
Flag Drill 7. Parade @ 9.30. Pair work & practice messages. Ditto in afternoon.
Lamps evening at 9.0.
