Sun. May 24.

the side! I scrambled in again without getting wet above the waist. What the depth was I don't know! (about 3'. Later investigations)

I dried & dripped on the bank and then went back to Folly Bdge in the punt and then home. - Dixon who was at Coll at the aft. did not even find out what had happened when I went back. Shall tell him some day.

Dinner in Hall. Uggered after it then had cocoa with Capes.

Mon May 25.

Punted without incident to-day, as far as I was concerned. Robinson however enlivened things by going in just opposite our barge. We were just turning round when our bows hit another punt. Rob. who had been punting in the bows lost his balance & as he felt himself going in, jumped. It was only about 2' deep so he had a pleasant paddle ashore. He rushed home & got back in time for the 6.0. races. Dixon came down accompanied by Mrs and Miss Booth. Got out of the squash pretty quickly & back in time for Hall. Both the first rowed over & the second got Balliol ii.

Tues. May 26

Mrs Robinson was very nervy to-day as a result of the experience in the punt yesterday. However nothing happened. The first rowed over and so did the second.
