up to London for a day to see the sights. I put them on a 36 bus outside Padd for Hyde Pk Corner & wandered off to Marylebone for the 10.55. Home therefore about 11.15. Mrs. Sheraton was up. Mr. S. has gone to Devon.
Mater of course was home all day -- A syrup pudding for Dinner, to say nothing of some chicken, -- Father got in about 6.10. After a very pleasant day I had to leave by the 6.45 for B. St. Got to Padd at 7.20. & travelled in the same company as this morning.
Leighton Pullan was on the train though I dodged him, so it was just as well as I got leave.
Sent a card home from the Ugger on my way to coll where I arr. about 9.0

Lectures in a.m. Punted from 2.30 - 6.30. Dixon (with Kitty Morgan in the punt) came down from the Rollers in 43 min on Sat. Tonight I & Rob had a shot to beat it. Rob. only punted from Mag. Bdge to the Main Stream junc. and despite 2 "left poles" & one full stop owing to an ass who couldn't steer getting across the river we did the journey in 41 min. I think I could do it in 35 without accidents. Rob & I intend to have a shot at a return journey in an hr. double poling one day. It sd. be managed easily.
