Rained all the morning; showers in aft; so did not go further than the Ugger. Balliol in eve. All strings, but as usual v.g.

Borrowed a racquet in aft & played tennis with Dixon & Cotton from 3-5.
Pullan 5.30. Worked in eve. (Heb. Prose)
Tue May 12
Played tennis with Dixon & Robinson from 2-4 Then went along to Robinson's to tea, who incidentally is a much better player than Cotton & can coach a bit. Then went out in the punt. Robinson put me ashore at Magdalene Bridge as I was in Hall. I passed Tim Tower at 8 mins to 7 & in whites & had changed & was in hall before Grace. Good work!

Robinson & I took Cotton out in the punt this aft. We left Folly Bridge about 1.55. All went well to Magdalene Bridge when Robinson took over the punting. Then all went pretty well until opposite the tea place. I was sitting "facing the engine" & suddenly was
