America (U.S.A.) declared war on Mexico to.day because they have refused to apologise for an insult!
Asquith was accused by Bonar Law in the House of Commons this aft of "making false statements" in other words of being a liar! This was over the Ulster Business. Asquith did not repudiate it, & I don't think he can!
Worked in morning.
Went to Willesden Gn in aft. Saw Mrs Scott. Came home via Harlesden. Called at Aunt Rhonda's Bequeathed a lot of stamps (dups) to Reg.

Went to train in aft. via Kings & then Bank (Nat. Prov.) Gamages and then met Mater & Mrs Crickshank at Aldersgate St. (They arrived 1/2 hr late) and went on with them to M.T.S. where I spent about 16/- at a Bazaar in aid of the mission. Pater arrived about 5. We left about 6.30 & went on to the Holborn Restaraunt & had dinner. Caught the 8.54 home.
