April 10 Friday

A man called Allen of Penmiy took it. He was not exactly great but not bad.

Left at 6.0 for St Michaels Service (at 7.0) went off very nicely. It consisted of shortened Evensong (Sung) then a few sacred solos of various kinds & the hymns from the "Crucifixion"

After supper at 17 G. Rd. got home Circ. 10.15

Apr. 11. Saturday

Went up to the office with the Pater to unpack a couple of cases for him. They were cardboard boxed tiles, so that once the cases were open (which was quite a job) all was easy. The tiles are quite fine.

We caught the 11.53 home. After dinner at 12.30 I went up to the hill to see Broadie. I got there about 1.15, just in time to hear the Wedding March. After he had finished performing I went through it with him.

Spent from 3-5 messing about with the bikes. Fitted a new tube to mine, and put the mud guard on Pater's on properly, trued up the front wheel &c.

About 5.0 we set out together
