Wed April 1.
Weather to.day most weird. Aft 27 wet days in March & cold too. The sun was 99° to-day!! Is there any climate like the English.
Went by train to Northwood (11.12 am) and then walked across to Pinner via Oxley & Pinner Hill, took a few photos on the way & got home about 2.0
Spend the aft developing & printing the negs of this am. One of them is about the best I have taken in the whole course of my existence.
I have found out - at last - that Everything depends on *full* exposure.
Had a walk round hill in eve via Bessboro Rd & Middle Rd.
189 Thur Apr. 2.
Walked across the fields via Woodcock Hill to Preston and then on home via East Lane & Watford Rd.
Dicky left by the 2.35. After seeing him off I went up about 4.0 & had tea with Mr. Wesley. His son came into tea. He is coming up to Oxford (I suppose next Oct) prob. to Hertford. He intends to go into the army. Got back about 6.0.
Had a ride round the hill (first time I have been on a bike since Saturday!)

Did a ride over unknown tracks this morning. Tried the road about 1 mile beyond Kenton which turns
