my score in first five was:- 03030. In second shot I took too much foresight which made the third a miss. At length I got straight and with elevation 300 on a 250 yds range made 55. Had I known my rifle it should not have been far short of 70. I found the last practice (a nasty little cardboard man) distinctly boring. I missed him every time, all low; but as they don't tell you where your shots are going it makes life boring. They tell you where they went after with great aplomb.

Origen meeting at Queens at 8.15 Proposed W.E. Brown & Theodosius seconded Squire. Dr Knapp read a paper on "The interpretation of Messianic Prophecy in the N.T." He insisted rather that prophecies should be understood in more of a spiritual sense than we commonly do. That we should not emphasise literal fulfillment but rather regard it as fulfilling the spirit of the prophets. In other discussion which followed Streeter pointed out that Xt never gives a string of prophetic quotations and says. "There are the prophecies which if you look prove I am He" No, He set out to prove by this life that he was the fulfiller of all prophecies. He embodied and fulfilled the prophetic spirit.
