Sun Feb. 8

Did not go out after chapel as it was raining hard. Looks cheerful for our journey home on Tue. I invested in an acetylene lamp yesterday in anticipation of Tue. I shall have to get a mud-flap tomorrow It may make the rain stop.

Went to Robbie's in aft. Did some Yona.

Mission in eve. The Church was quite full though not overcrowded like last week. The Bishop thanked people for turning up so well and proceeded to give us a sermon on Prayer which I think was almost the best of the series.

He seems to have had a busy time during the week with callers and they seem to have divided them between them (he & Talbot) I think the Mission has done quite a lot of good.

I gave Perc. a shock this week by asking him to wake me at 6.30 tomorrow. However on

He did it. I went over for Fedden at 6.50 & to-gether we journeyed to St Mary Magdalene's. This church is the one of which Arthur Parham is Vicar. It is at the corner of the Broad and the Corn. It is rather peculiar because it is sideways instead of long ways ie thus ???DIAGRAM??? They apparently had to build it that way to get
