Sat Dec 21
Pater read and then tea and cake and chat till 5.30. Did not go to church in the eve. Started experimenting with the lantern. Mr. Woodward came in in the middle so I showed him all the slides. the lens was clean and so were several of the slides so that they were better tonight.
Mon Dec 22
Spent the morning spotting and naming the slides.
Nellie came over in the evening. Ran through the slides once more then we played solo whist for the rest of the eve.
Tues Dec 23
Called for Rowdon circa 10 a.m. and spent the morn. delivering Xmas Cards in Acton and Ealing. Home via Perivale and Greenford Rd. (Ballot Box).
aft. rain.
Wed. Dec 23
Called for Rowdon again and delivered Harlesden cards. Took almost 1 hr to do it.
Pottered about in aft. Went for a walk with Pater in the eve.
Xmas Day Thur Dec. 25
Pater wandered into my room about 5.15 a.m. and gently (?) suggested that it was time for me to get up! I had promised to play on the hill at the 6.0
