Sat Nov. 22]

Had tea with Herbert at Wadham. Wrote home fom Ugger after dinner.

In evening went to Robinsons where we played Bridge with Herb. & Cotton. Got back in Coll just before 11.0. As Porters were shut I brought my bike along to the new gateway. Had just put my bike there when I heard the raggers war cry. I was just at the entrance when a figure in a blue shirt, with no pants flashed by with a howling mob at his heels. When I returned to my rooms I had my suspicions, that it was Dixon again, confirmed. All lamps had gone and therefore I went into the passage on a bagging expedition. The lamps so obtained revealed the fact that no other damage had been done beyond the smashing of two panes of glass. My rooms had suffered because Dixon was in there when the crew arrived.

I found on Dixon's return that the reason for the debagging was that when he last played Soccer a fellow named Turner (3rd yr) told him not to "play to the gallery" when he missed one clearance. Dixon replied "Mind your own business" Well that of course to a 3rd yr man is dangerous. Result as stated above.

However his ruffled temper was soon restored to normal. As the raggers will I know have to pay for the damage if Gus can possibly so manage it I do not mind very much. But - I think in future on Sat evens we will put our co-partnership scheme out of action!
