42 two letters instead of one as I had expected. You may remember sending an extra one the week you went to the Scala Fasho??? But ??? to the Pyjamas. These two pairs were not of very good stuff - in ??? one went for lightness more than anything. And they have intiniated??? that they are no longer willing to be of Service to me so that your two pairs ???? (I didn't quite mean "your pyjamas" - by the ones you are Sending) will arrive most opportunely. I must write & congratulate Pat on his "wings" He will be very hucked??? I hope Mr Crickshank will be successful in his new venture. It is a bit of an undertaking especially in war time. I rather like your holiday idea this if ea.???? I only wish I could be there too! The Scala Fili?? must have been very fine. I hope sometime it will come out here. But probably I shall be home first! I wonder if M. Cooper will be successful in getting "Mandalay" It is good of you still to worry about it. I hope he gets it as it is a very good setting. Lionel Hewlett ?? has gone off to Abbotabad??? on a 3 weeks Course in "Mountain Warfare" so at present ca??? let loose at him?? the ??? you made.
