a quarter of an hour over each man, which made it a lengthy business. Spent the afternoon putting the various loose prints I have got of photos I have taken into an album. Tuesday August 8th No. 8 bad again this morning. Saw the vet. He prescribed a mixture of Mex Vonicae?? and Ammonia Carbonate. So I went along to the hospital myself I borrowed it and about 4.0?? they mule had it. Had another look at him at 2/0 & he had another dose. Went down again at 5/30 and again at 7.0 Franklin?? came with me then. We got some bedding and put it down for him & when we came away he had started to eat it! I went along again at 10/30 after Tattoo?? and he was still standing up eating it! So I thought we had got him round again. We sent 6 mules into Pennybank?? to day with a Regimental Convoy. I am moving the lines tomorrow as the Mules of the 44th M.C. are all going back to S/B and I am going to take their old lines.
