I had a letter from Rowdan by the mail. I told him when I wrote that we had no Artillery against us if we had a Fraitie??? Shau??? out here. He saip he wishes it was the same in France He doesn't seem to appreciate Machine Guns either very much. I shouldn't be very surprised if Padre Soferanis??? doesn't get exchanged. I saw the other day that they were arranging to exchange R.4M.C so they will probably include the Padres as they are non-combatants. Yes Mother I'd willing exchange a month in Chasmire for an hour at home. If we were get to France I may get leave. I don't suppose they is meld send us na??? England thought they might because of refitting. We should have to warm kit for Cold Weather French work. Still that's only as lemaild??? and as we are going to the Gulf as well (according to rumour) we shall probably stay where we are! I don't really imagine that they gave us 3 weeks Mounta??? werfore?? with the idea of ording us to the Persian Gulf. "Smoke" is looking very fit now. The new sifee??? knocks spots??? off the old ones! The pray??? never looked as well before since I or Turvey??? had him. He has quite recovered from his fall in the Tunnel + the hair has grown again.
