Friday June 9 Whit off in the "Shika" Boat this morning is the Marashal Lake. It is an extraordinarily pretty place + in the clear water of the lake we could see the bottom thick with most gorgeous weeds of all sorts + teeming with fish. We went ashore + spent the morning there reading. Had a picnic tiff in at 12./0 and about 3/30 made our way back to the house boat. Saturday June 10 Moved off very early this morning in an attempt to reach Srinagat by the afternoon After Jiffin ??
