He gave nothing away as he was doing them, and he wasn't more than 6. ft away. de Vesian tried to get the best of him once or twice but was scored off beautifully every time. At 3.0 I paid the Company & office then I wrote, read, slept till Mess. Sat. Mar. 27. Parades as usual. Hickling took the early morning show. Mail in at 8.30 to-day.???Terckenig??? went to the Mess for it while I carried on with the parade so I got mine early. About 4.30 Laran came round to my bungalow & I was at it till 7.0 with C.E.M.S work. 175 Sun. Mar. 28 Parade service at 7.30. Breakfast after it. Beach went to the 6.30 service so had to take "A" to church. After lunch there was another meeting about Sports offer win told they had to play games with their ???Cays.??? and someone was asked to volunteer to run Bayonet fighting. I undertook it. After ???Tra??? went till church time 6:30. We had a dust storm about 6.0 It was rather like a bad ???iniut??? action ???ga??? London toy in effect, but more unpleasant. Mo. Mar. d29 A lovely thunderstorm last night with plenty of rain. Result it is cooler to-day. Prognan??? as usual.
