???DIAGRAM??? Monday Sep. 14. As our Co. is on light Duty to-day there was no early morning parade. So I did not arise until the charmingly late hour of 6.45. At 8.15 the Recruits paraded for M. Range. I was more or less in charge. Stracton strolled on now and again. The Adjt. cursed because they had no packs and no rifles. Eventually we dismissed to get Rifles only. It is rather absurd wanting to make men with groggy arms carry rifles and packs! We preceeded the Battn to the town??? and all when we collected Rifles and Grounders Animin??? and Tangets then I guided the party in a conducted tour through some beautiful (and smelly) brickworks to our Minature Range. We had 5 down at a time as we had 5 Rifles and 5 instructions viz Capt. The
