284 Wed July 15] Grandpater went home today by the 3.30. We went in with him via the 2.20 Marylebone & taxi. Gto from Harrow Sta to Padd in 20 mins that way. Got the old man a comfy seat in the plymouth portion. Went home via Whitelys??? & Gamages??? (where I bought some Jennis??? Balls) Did some work in eve. ' ' Thurs July 16. Tennis in a.m Work more or less in eve Pater wants me to read a paper for him ??? ??? tues??? CEMS next Thursday on [Thur July 16 Church History. They have got a penny??? History & are discussing a Chapter a time. I get from the Death of Anselm to Lanfranc???. Not a bad period. ' ' Spent the morning doing a paper for Peter. Went to him with it (12.???8 exHarrow GC) in aft. Came home LVWR Did a little work in eve. ' ' Sat July 18. Had a long game of Tennis this morning. Just got back in time to have dinner & change & catch the 1.41 to Marylebone
